The release date hasn't been announced yet, but the CM will begin airing tomorrow, May 10th.

Hisashiburi deeeesu! I know I haven't been able to translate in the LOOOOONGEST time and I'm very very sorry that I've been failing to do so for the past few months ;__; I've been very very busy, but I'm not anymore~! 8D Yeeeey!

Journey to Keichan's Ramen Ryuutaro

Hello everyone!!!

I am Mika, a NEWSpaana from the Philippines.

I want to share a very unforgettable experience of mine..

Our journey to Ramen Ryuutaro owned by NEWS' Koyama Keiichiro's family.

Twenty two of my relatives and I went to Japan on March 30, 2013 (Saturday). We were there until April 3, 2013 (Wednesday).

The sakuras were sooooo beautiful

We stayed at Tokyo Prince Hotel at Shiba kouen, Minato-ku. It is very near from Tokyo tower.

We were in a group package tour that's why we had an itinerary that we followed but like our other trips (ex. in South Korea last Aug 2012), we had our own night itinerary after we go back to our hotel.

I talked to my uncle, I asked him if there is a chance that we can go to Ramen Ryuutaro because since I am already in Japan (it was actually my first time) I want to take that opportunity to visit Keichan's family ramen shop. I was so happy when my uncle gave me an 'okay' response. I was super happy!!!

On our first night in Japan (March 30, 2013), together with 7 of my relatives we took on a journey to Ramen Ryuutaro.

We left our hotel at around 9:00pm (Japan time)...

It took us almost 2 hours from Tokyo Prince Hotel to Ramen Ryuutaro...

Akabanebashi station -> Shinjuku station (Toei Oedo Line) -> Shinjuku station (JR Odakyu Line) -> Sagaima-ono station -> Sobudai-mae station

Five train stations…

Three train transfers…

We arrived at Sobudai-mae station at around 11pm

Since it was already late, we got scared that we might not catch the last train going back...

We ran from Sobudai-mae station to Ramen Ryuutaro (like what the contestants in Amazing Race do haha)

We were so tired!!!

But when I already saw the Ramen Ryuutaro sign, I got really excited!
I ran faster and felt a little nervous.

We were supposed to just take a picture outside their Ramen shop but because my relatives were so supportive they let me go inside.

They actually pushed me inside Ramen Ryuutaro haha

The first person that I noticed was Keichan's Mama...

Oh my goodness!!! They look like each other!!!

I was like "Oh my goodness!!! Kei Kei Kei!!!" (only inside my head)

Note: Our conversation was in Nihongo, I just translated it in English

Keichan's Mama: Welcome
Mika: Good evening *trying to catch my breath*
Keichans Mama: Are you tired?
Mika: Yes, we ran from the station
Keichan's Mama: Water? Water? There’s water over there *pointing at the water refilling station inside the ramen shop*
Mika: Thank you very much

Keichan's Mama smiled

Because we didn’t have enough time, we were not able to eat at Ramen Ryuutaro. Too bad, right? Instead of eating there I just ordered gyoza then have it take out.

But but but…

While the gyozas were being cooked…
I was able to talk to Keichan's Mama.
I sat on the stool at the counter that's why I was able to talk to her face-to-face.

Keichan's Mama was so nice and a very pretty Mama.
It was a lot of fun!!!
I was so happy!!!

I told her that I am a foreign fan of NEWS and we are having a 5 day tour in Japan.

Mika: I am a foreign fan of NEWS. I am from the Philippines
Keichan Mama bowed and smiled
Keichan Mama: Thank you very much
I smiled back to her
Keichan's Mama: How long are you going to stay here (in Japan)
Mika: For 5 days. From today March 30 until April 3.
Keichan's Mama: Where are you staying?
Mika: We are staying at Tokyo Prince Hotel at Minato-ku
Keichan's Mama: I see... That's nice...

Keichan Mama had a smile on her face the whole time.

My relatives and I were a little worried about the last train’s schedule. We were worried that we might not make it.

Keichan's Mama researched about the schedule of the last train from Sobudai-mae to Akabanebashi station (She first asked me what is the nearest station from our hotel)

Keichan's Mama showed her phone to me (She has a fuchsia pink flip-top phone)

Keichan's Mama: Here… The schedule of the last train. Don’t worry, ne? It will be alright. Tell everyone ne... Don't worry~

I was so surprised!!!

Keichan's Mama was extremely nice!!!
For me to be able to speak with Keichan's Mama I was really really happy.
We talked a lot in Nihongo, I think she got surprised when I spoke in Nihongo because I'm a foreigner.
I was not able to include everything that we talked about in this post, gomen...

It was really an unforgettable experience, maybe my best memory in our Japan tour :)

I was not able to go around inside their Ramen shop because I was talking to Keichan's Mama, I asked two of my relatives to take photos of everything that they see inside.

Here are some of the photos that they took...

I will never forget this experience. I will treasure this memory forever.

I feel so blessed!!! I am very happy and still can't get over :)
