MADE ni Omakase (Sep 4)
Tomioka Kento (MADE) wrote about going to watch NEWS’ 15th anniversary concert and said that he was moved and that it was a warm atmosphere filled with love. He added that of course he knew all the songs and could dance to most of them. He mentioned ‘Ikiro’ and UR not alone in particular, saying that hearing ‘Ikiro’ live for the first time game him goosebumps and made him cry. He said he wanted everyone to listen and said that it goes on sale on September 12th.
He talked about how much he’s been allowed to work with and been taken care of by NEWS. He congratulated them on their anniversary.
EbiLog (Sep 5)

He said Massu went to watch their concert, and texted Tsuka his comments, which was mostly about how cool the set of costumes Massu made them were.
NEWSRING (Sep 6)
It was Koyama’s turn to update.
He posted about the big earthquake in Hokkaido and said that he was worried and could tell how tough a situation it must be from pictures of the damage. He said that his heart hurts for them, and when the timing comes he’ll do what he can.
Shigeaki no Cloud (Sep 7)
Shige posted about how there were only 2 episodes left in Zero but that they’re still filming. He also posted about the third installment of Miacis Symphony is in the latest anan. Masuda Takahisa no Marumaru (Sep 10)
Masuda Takahisa’s ABCDEFG...Z
He wrote about going to watch A.B.C-Z’s concert. He got to design a set of costumes and should really have gone to see it on the first day, but the timing didn’t match so he went late.
The costumes he did coincided in colour tone with the set before but completely different in design, and said he would get along with the designer.
He also wrote about the concert, and said while he was expressionless while Tsukachan posed for the camera, the audience screamed. And also how Tsukachan is a friend he respects and thanked him + the group for a wonderful chance.
NHK has set up a site with the handwritten messages of the catch copy “Hiroshima wo genki ni” (Sending strength to Hiroshima) from celebrities, including Shige and Tegoshi. (Source)

Massu was mentioned on the Sep 6 episode of Fuji TV’s “Out x Deluxe”, when one of the guests, Koshioka Yuki (Fo~yu), shared an episode of Massu organising a “Douki kai” with other Johnny’s who entered the agency the same time as him. Koshioka didn’t manage to make it in the end, but asked Massu how much they each had to pay (they decided to split the bill, since they all started out in the industry at the same time), and they paid a few tens of thousand yen each (about a few hundred USD). Koshioka: Don’t ever invite me again!
Tsukada (A.B.C-Z), who’s a regular on the programme and one of those at the dinner, explained that it’s the first time in 18 years they ever gathered for a meal, so they spent a bit more in the hope of doing better from that point onwards. Koshioka said he’d organise one next time when they all go for happy hour. (Source)
Realsound wrote an article on “Ikiro”, mostly picking up on how Koyama mentioned in Kchan NEWS that the most touching moment at the anniversary concert was when the fans started singing “Ikiro” at the end roll, even though it was before the release. It also wrote about how the past 15 years hasn’t been smooth sailing for NEWS. Neither is real life. But when the going gets tough, it’s songs like “Ikiro” that will give us strength and help us live on. (Source)
Go-chan, TV Asahi’s mascot, was asked which songs he’d like NEWS to sing at the Dream Festival, and he listed a few, including “Akatsuki” a few times. (Source)
